Student mentoring of Astrakhan State Medical University at the international forum and exhibition “Russia”

On April 20, employees and students of the Astrakhan State Medical University took part in the work of the wall of the Astrakhan region at the international forum and exhibition “Russia” on the territory of VDNKh.

Astrakhan State Medical University presented:

• Natalya Timofeeva – head of the educational work department;
• Roman Grebnev – specialist in the department of educational work, 1-year resident in the specialty “therapy”, founder of the youth movement of the Astrakhan State Medical University “Student Mentoring”;
• Akhmed Abdulaev – administrator of the educational work department, 4th year student of the Faculty of Dentistry, chief mentor for working with cadets of the youth movement of the Astrakhan State Medical University “Student Mentoring”;
• Madlena Bidzhieva – 6th year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, senior mentor of the pediatric faculty of the youth movement of the Astrakhan State Medical University “Student Mentoring”, head of the “StudArt” project;
• Ramazan Abdulaev – 5th year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, senior mentor for theoretical educational programs of the youth movement of the Astrakhan State Medical University “Student Mentoring”;
• Fatima Salavatova – 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine, mentor of the Faculty of Medicine of the youth movement of the Astrakhan State Medical University “Student Mentoring”, regional coordinator of the All-Russian student project “Your Move”;
• Diana Cherkashina is a 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine, mentor of the Faculty of Medicine of the youth movement of the Astrakhan State Medical University “Student Mentoring”.

The theme of our university’s stand was the upcoming fifth anniversary of the youth movement of the Astrakhan State Medical University “Student Mentoring”. Guests of the exhibition got acquainted with the directions and projects of StudNast, took part in the work of the interactive platform, where various tests, games and photo competitions were held. Residents of the capital and regions of Russia became participants in the interactive platform. Everyone present learned a lot of new and interesting things about students at medical universities, especially about student mentoring at Astrakhan State Medical University. At the end of the event, the most attentive and fastest participants were awarded memorable prizes.

Such events promote and strengthen the brand of student mentoring and our university very well. We thank the rector of Astrakhan State Medical University, Olga Bashkina, for the opportunity to take part in such a large-scale event.

On the same day, representatives of the Astrakhan State Medical University took part in setting a record for the most massive exercise, which lasted 20 minutes, and 5,773 people took part in it.

The Russian Book of Records presented certificates to the general director of the exhibition, Natalya Virtuozova, and the organizer of the event, two-time Olympic boxing champion Oleg Saitov. Olympic champion gymnast Nikita Nagorny performed exercises for all those who came. Residents of St. Petersburg, the Stavropol Territory, and the Kirov Region participated in the event via teleconference.
