Renovation of 13th Bereznikovskaya street has begun in Ivanovo

In Ivanovo, renovation of 13th Bereznikovskaya Street has begun. The contractor LLC “NSK” began repairing the street in the area from Torfyanaya Lane to house No. 59 in Silikatny Lane. The progress of work was checked by the deputy head of the Ivanovo city administration, Alexey Mikhailov, together with the deputy of the Ivanovo City Duma Olga Belolapova and residents of the microdistrict, the press service of the mayor’s office reported on Wednesday, April 24.

As Olga Belolapova noted, the road is important both for this residential area and for the city as a whole. Nearby is a large kindergarten No. 190. “Now we are developing this microdistrict comprehensively. We are repairing several streets, building a multifunctional sports ground, and improving the public garden,” she said.

The repairs are being carried out as part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”. “The length of the repaired section is 314 meters. It is planned to replace the worn-out asphalt concrete pavement with a new one, as well as develop parking lots and sidewalks. To date, about a third of the work has been completed,” said Alexey Mikhailov. Road workers continue to develop a “trough” for arranging pedestrian zones, expanding the roadway and parking.

Street renovations under the municipal contract must be completed before the end of the 2024 construction season.

Alexey Mikhailov recalled that in Ivanovo, as part of the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads,” work is underway at more than ten sites. Among them are Spartak, Strelkovaya, Sarmentovaya, 8th Zavokzalnaya, Zhugina, Nefedova, Shustova streets and others.
