In Nizhny Novgorod, a maximum index for changes in fees for the maintenance of residential premises has been established. It will affect owners who have not decided on the choice of method of managing an apartment building, as well as on establishing the amount of payment for the maintenance of residential premises. It was decided to increase the fee for them, but not by more than 7.2%. The innovations will come into force on June 1, 2024, the press service of the mayor’s office reports with reference to the city department of economic development.
The change in fees depends on the consumer price index for goods and services, the department explained. The tariff will vary depending on living conditions. Thus, residents of dilapidated or unsafe apartment buildings will pay 30.68 rubles per square meter. In turn, for a “square” in houses with all types of amenities, elevators, smoke removal systems and garbage chutes you will have to pay 42.55 rubles. On average, the fee increase will be 2.4 rubles.
Since the forecast for the socio-economic development of the Nizhny Novgorod region for the medium term, approved by a resolution of the regional government, sets this index at 107.2%, the maximum index for changes in the amount of fees for the maintenance of residential premises is set at 7.2% for all categories of apartment buildings— added specialists from the relevant department.
