On April 29, the festival of medieval history and culture “Novotorzhsky Frontier 2024” will take place on the territory of the Vasilevo Architectural and Ethnographic Museum. The event is held in honor of the heroic defense of Torzhok from the Mongol-Tatar hordes.
The festival will feature a permanent medieval fair, an archery and crossbow shooting range, a children’s interactive platform “Battle with the Master”, a platform “Medieval weapons and armor”, a forge, as well as master classes on minting coins, printed fabric, weaving on loom and reed, making wax candles, painting on wood, making leather goods and much more.
The official opening of the festival will take place at 12.00, and it will run until 20.00.
Age limit: 6+.
