The mayor of Yaroslavl Artyom Molchanov spoke in Kirov about the “Vyatka Yaroslavl residents”

He added that after “we lived in Moscow for more than seven years,” he came to Yaroslavl as if it were his home:

— Kirov and Yaroslavl are very close territories. We have a lot in common historically. We are connected by transport routes, and development is underway along the cruise routes of the railway towards Kirov and Perm. On the Vyatka train, passengers arrive at the Yaroslavsky station in Moscow. Yaroslavl residents come to Kirov to challenge the decisions of the Arbitration Court of the Yaroslavl Region, because the Second Arbitration Court of Appeal is located here (at one time I was lucky to have a hand in finding a place for the court in Kirov). There are a lot of intersections, and there are no clear divisions or boundaries.

Returning to the issue of Kirov/Yaroslavl personnel, he continued:

“We really have a large team of so-called “Vyatka Yaroslavl residents.” The team was not formed by chance. All people appeared with an understanding of what purpose, for what task. You named Denis Yuryevich Pyrlog (previously headed ATP and KPAT in Kirov – ed.). He heads our transport department, and he has a large block of work. The task is being accomplished very well… I will not praise, there is no need to over-praise. Yes, Egor Pospelov (formerly executive director of the Kirov regional branch of “Support of Russia” – ed.) really leads a large landmark project “School 21”. Many thanks to him (again, so as not to relax: there are many tasks there). Dmitry Nikolaevich Dranyi (former head of the Kirov administration – ed.) heads the regional enterprise JSC “Yardormost“, which serves as the main road enterprise in the Yaroslavl region. In fact, I could list people for a long time. Many specialists today see themselves, their realization in a team, because we work as a team.

Separately, he emphasized that “we are happy about this: we consider this as an opportunity to prove ourselves, an opportunity to gain experience.”

– But the most important thing, you know, you always want to do something that will be useful and necessary for people. Not everyone is given such a chance in life. If you were given such a chance, if fate gave you the opportunity to be in your place and be useful, then this is a great gift of fate. We, together with our colleagues, with our friends, together, as one team, have the opportunity to do a good job for the people of Yaroslavl and we will definitely do it, – Artem Molchanov emphasized.
