In Tula, in the Patriot Park, the exhibition “Everything for Victory!” was opened, dedicated to the 106th Guards Airborne Tula Red Banner Order of Kutuzov II Class Division and telling about the blue berets awarded various high awards.

The chairman of the Tula regional branch of the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO), Alexander Potapenko, also took part in the ceremony, and noted: everyone today celebrates the heroism of the Tula paratroopers and the significant role they play during the conduct of the military historical society. All Tula residents in the rear, one way or another, maintain constant contact with the 106th division.

“Our fellow countrymen are successfully addressing the issues of providing soldiers with what is needed at the front and what affects the performance of the combat mission. Just last week we sent the soldiers spare parts to restore their vehicles according to the list they contacted us with. And this is the answer we received from the SVO zone: “With your help, we have restored 6 cars that help solve the assigned tasks.” Let me remind you that our fighters there defend a peaceful sky, fight against Nazism, against those who oppose our country and want nothing left of Russia.

Today there is no corner in the Tula region where the role of the division is not reflected. During any significant patriotic event, including Victory Parades, “Memory Trains,” paratroopers are present everywhere. We are with you, our dear paratroopers. We wish you confidence in your abilities. Victory will be ours. And we will provide you with whatever assistance you need,” Potapenko assured.
