Today, the city committee for social protection of the population, under the leadership of the deputy head of the Kursk administration Natalya Parkhomenko, held a meeting of the interdepartmental commission dedicated to the issues of providing state social assistance through social contracts.
The commission members discussed requests from Kursk residents who want to use their skills in various fields, such as photography, beauty, social media marketing, residential renovation and decoration, and sewing. Social adaptation programs aimed at helping people in difficult life situations are developed jointly with applicants and social protection authorities.
Citizens recognized as low-income, as well as families or people living alone have the opportunity to conclude a social contract. At today’s meeting, it was decided to allocate more than 14 million rubles to support 53 families.
