In Tula, a 34-year-old former traffic police inspector was convicted of bribery. The prosecutor’s office of the Tula region reports this.

In October 2023, a traffic police inspector received a bribe of 10 thousand rubles from a moped driver for failure to draw up a protocol on an administrative offense for driving without a license.

The former policeman did not admit guilt in court. The court sentenced him to a fine of 80 thousand rubles. In addition, the ex-policeman was banned from holding positions in the law enforcement system for 2 years. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
