Evgenia Burtseva received congratulations from City Duma deputy Maxim Platov, the department reported.

According to the birthday girl, in 1937 her father was shot due to political repression. Together with him, my grandfather and four of my mother’s brothers were arrested. Later, the neighbors’ children teased the Burtsev family, also threw stones and called them “children of the enemy of the people.”

Later, in 1990, an association of victims of political repression appeared in the regional center, where the Kaluga resident was the most active participant.

Evgenia Burtseva was congratulated with a bouquet of flowers and presented with a present. They also wished her health, good spirits, long and happy years of life.

Earlier, Borovsk Great Patriotic War veteran Georgy Fedorovich Klimeshin celebrated his centennial anniversary.
