During the raid, employees of the capital’s State Traffic Inspectorate identified more than seven thousand violations of traffic rules by drivers of personal mobility devices (PIM) and cyclists. This was reported on Tuesday, April 23, by the press service of the Moscow traffic police.

A preventive inspection was carried out in the capital from April 19 to 21. During this time, traffic inspectors identified 3,185 traffic violations by SIM drivers, 2,556 by delivery service couriers, and 1,429 by cyclists.

“Control over these categories of road users by the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate will continue,” the press service emphasized.

On April 17, a bill was introduced to the State Duma introducing fines for violations when driving electric scooters and bicycles.
