The authorities fined a contractor who maintains the road network in Kaliningrad. This was announced by the head of the administration Elena Dyatlova after an operational meeting on Wednesday, April 24.

On social networks, residents complained that workers were doing pothole repairs on Galitsky Street during a snowfall. “We sent a claim to the contractor for violation of the terms of the contract. The amount of recovery amounted to 200 thousand rubles. Plus, our specialists took core samples from the road surface and sent them for examination. If the quality of the work does not meet the requirements, they will not be accepted and will be forced to redo it,” Dyatlova noted.

According to her, the total amount of claims made by the company is about 2.3 million rubles.

For the last few years, DSP JSC has been repairing and maintaining roads in Kaliningrad. In 2023, a contract was signed with the organization for 256 million rubles. Later, the authorities allocated another 80 million for the work. In 2024, 375 million rubles were allocated for road repair and maintenance.
