Russian Ambassador to the USA Anatoly Antonov revealed the true reasons for anti-Russian sanctions from Washington. In the tg channel of the Russian embassy, ​​Antonov wrote that the US authorities themselves stopped hiding these reasons, stopped covering everything up with Ukraine – it had nothing to do with it.

“We are not talking about any mythical aspirations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, but about banal opportunistic and predatory ambitions,” the ambassador noted.

The United States, he believes, is now unable to conduct fair economic competition, and it is precisely for the purpose of dishonest victory that they are beginning to use weapons such as sanctions.

Speaking about the threat to the climate on the planet, the United States is forcing other countries to abandon fossil fuels, imposing their own gas on them for many years to come.

There is not an ounce of politics in all this – it is pure economics, assessing one’s own benefits for the years to come. And in the pursuit of money, the interests of other countries do not play any role for America.
