The construction of the structure will begin this summer after the authorities sign a concession agreement with Gevorg Hakobyan’s company.

Last Monday, April 22, during a detour of the Leningradsky Bridge being repaired, the governor Vitaly Khotsenko made an interesting statement. He announced the start of construction of a bridge across the Om in June of this year. The work is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

It is already known that the concessionaire will be the company IFR-Om, associated with the owner of the construction company Stroytrast. Gevorg Hakobyan. 1.6 billion rubles will be spent on the construction of a 1.2-kilometer-long structure that will connect Razdolnaya and 1st Zarechnaya streets. According to plans, the bridge will be tolled.

In a conversation with a columnist for RIA “Omsk-inform” Gevorg Hakobyan confirmed the information that his company will build an important infrastructure facility. As well as the fact that the concession agreement will be signed soon.

– The concession agreement is currently under consideration by the government of the Omsk region. Everything is in progress. “I’m not ready to answer yet when the work will begin,” the builder said evasively.

According to Omsk-inform insiders, the agreement will be signed immediately after the Leningradsky Bridge is put into operation. It will be fully opened to traffic on June 12. These two events are not connected by chance. The Leningradsky Bridge is being repaired by the Stroytrust company Arman Hakobyan, brother of Gevorg Hakobyan. Close relatives are long-term business partners. Apparently, the concessionaire IFR-Om will make Stroytrust the general contractor for the construction of the new bridge.

– Regional authorities want to see how the contractor will cope with the reconstruction of the Leningradsky Bridge. And if everything goes well, the contract will be concluded. There is a high probability that this will happen in June,” said a source in the regional cabinet familiar with the situation.

Let us add that at the same time Stroytrust is carrying out work on the reconstruction of Architects Boulevard on the Left Bank. This facility should be completed by the end of this year.
