Production in Moscow’s manufacturing industries increased by 17%, said the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin during a visit to the Spetskabel research and production enterprise in the Golyanovo district.
“Moscow industry is experiencing a new birth. In recent years, the volume of industry in Moscow has doubled, and since the beginning of the year alone, the growth of manufacturing industries has shown 17%. Very high dynamics, taking into account the fact that we have already collected quite a large volume. “Spetskabel is one of the enterprises that has been actively developing in recent years, producing new products and supplying them to such leading industries as space, nuclear, transport and a number of other industries,” the mayor noted.
Vice-president of the Spetskabel plant Sergei Lobanov said that production growth at the enterprise in the first quarter compared to the same period in 2023 was already 10%. And every year the production volume at the plant increases by 15%.
“We have now worked out the concept of building a new plant, which we will need in order to keep up with growing demand,” Lobanov noted.
32% of the production of the Spetskabel plant comes to Moscow. In addition, the company’s products are supplied to 68 regions of Russia.
