On Sunday, April 28, at 17:00 for Novgorodians at the Valery Rubtsov Cinema Museum there will be an evening in memory of one of the most popular Soviet composers, Alexander Flyarkovsky. It will be conducted by the artist’s youngest daughter, the poet Olga Flyarkovskaya.

People’s Artist of the USSR, Honored Worker of Culture of Poland, professor, academician Alexander Flyarkovsky wrote more than 300 songs for his creative work (“Only a sunbeam does not shed”, “When we leave the schoolyard”, “Oh, mommy, I was riding on a sleigh with the wrong one”) “), and also created music for more than 60 films and cartoons. Among them, which have become Soviet classics, are “The Prank”, “Once More About Love”, “Funny Stories” (Deniska’s Stories).

10 years ago, Alexander Grigorievich passed away. And the evening at the Cinema Museum opens a series of memorable events. Here you can hear many interesting stories about the life, work and personality of the composer.

At the end of the evening there will be a screening of the film “Russian Field” with Nonna Mordyukova in the title role, the music for which was also written by Alexander Flyarkovsky.
