There will be no fireworks in Rostov on Victory Day. Governor Vasily Golubev announced this.
According to him, the festive fireworks display, for which the Russian Ministry of Defense is responsible, also remains in question.
– If there are fireworks on May 9, it will be the decision of the Russian Ministry of Defense. And we traditionally organized fireworks in Rostov. There will be no fireworks in Rostov,” Golubev said.
Salute is a volley of howitzers (cannons). The fireworks show is not spectacular, the maximum is flashes of light and roar. Fireworks are pyrotechnics, the same show of multi-colored lights for which Rostovites gather on Theater Square on May 9 and City Day.
