On April 24, a Memory Alley was planted in the Gvardeysky Park of Ryazan, and an updated exhibition of the photo exhibition “Time Has Chosen Us” was presented with portraits of Ryazan residents who died in the line of military duty during a special military operation and other local wars. The project is being implemented on the initiative of the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland with the support of the government of the Ryazan region, the city administration and public organizations within the framework of the presidential grant “The Pride of the Ryazan Land: the 137th Guards Parachute Regiment of the Red Star.” The goal is to preserve the memory of the defenders of our country.

The opening ceremony was attended by the first deputy chairman of the regional government Anna Roslyakova, the Minister of Territorial Policy of the Ryazan Region Zhanna Fomina, the chairman of the Ryazan City Duma Tatyana Panfilova, the deputy head of the chairman of the Ryazan City Duma Anna Ivanova, representatives of authorities and public organizations, relatives and friends of the heroes, cadets of the Margelov RVVDKU, pupils. Those gathered observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims and laid flowers at the portraits of the heroes.

Thuja and lilac seedlings appeared in Gvardeysky Park on the Memory Alley in honor of the fallen soldiers.
