Regional mini-football competitions among the Main Directorates of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia have started in Vologda

The competition among rescuers will take place over two days: April 24 and 25. 11 teams are fighting for victory.

The opening ceremony of the competition took place at the School of Olympic Reserve Football.

“Competitions have started in the city of Vologda among the subjects of the Main Directorates of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the North-Western Federal District. More than 100 athletes take part in the competition. Today is the first qualifying game. Teams will play for 15 minutes in two groups. Tomorrow the strongest participants, the winners of the first day, will compete for prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places. Games will be 10 minutes long“- says Valery Zheltyshev, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Vologda Region.

The winner of the competition will represent the North-West at federal competitions.

“I’m serious about competitions. I have already repeatedly participated in the tournament among the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Northwestern Federal District. This time it was possible to organize a team gathering for the first time, I hope for a successful completion. We will try our hand at the playoffs. All players are geographically located in different places: some are from Kirillov, some from Cherepovets. Competitions are an opportunity for us to unite among ourselves, this will help us on the court“- said the captain of the team of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Vologda Region, Alexander Vorobyov.
