The solemn event took place at the central entrance to the administration of the Leninsky district.

97 boxes of humanitarian aid for Northern Military District soldiers were collected in the Leninsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. Educational institutions, public organizations of veterans, local community groups, the District Women’s Council, the Association of Large Families, deputies, administration employees and entrepreneurs of the district helped in collecting the necessary things, the district administration reported.

The head of the Leninsky district administration, Sergei Lukoyanov, expressed gratitude to everyone involved in collecting humanitarian aid for the participants of the North Military District.

“You are helping them overcome the difficulties of the military situation and, I hope, that the transferred cargo will help alleviate the difficult conditions of the soldiers a little, and make them feel our support, care and attention. The entire Leninsky district is waiting for our guys with victory, safe and sound! Thank you very much again for the good you do!” – he said.

Concerned Nizhny Novgorod residents collected essential items, including socks knitted by residents of the Leninsky district, walkie-talkies, binoculars, badges and holiday cards on the eve of the celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. Entrepreneurs Edgar Hakobjanyan, Kadzhik Knyazyan, and Victor Margaryan made a special contribution.

The ceremonial event for sending humanitarian aid within the framework of the All-Russian action “We do not abandon our own” was held at the central entrance to the administration of the Leninsky district. The event was attended by deputies of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma Mikhail Rykhtik, Tatyana Druzhinina, Oksana Smolina, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Leninsky District Yuri Modin, representatives of the United Russia party and residents of the Leninsky District.
