The Department of Competitions and Auctions of the Ivanovo Region summed up the results of the electronic auction for the right to conclude a lease agreement for new high-capacity buses. Agreements for the right to lease 17 LIAZ buses will be concluded in early May, after which carriers will be able to put them on routes. New tenders will be announced for seven more buses, the regional government reports.
Applications from carriers were received for all vehicles – 24 low-floor LIAZ buses, 17 auction winners were identified, but applications for seven lots were rejected due to the fact that the auction participants – Ivanovo carriers did not attach a complete package of documents or incorrect documents that contradicted legal requirements.
New large LIAZ buses will operate on routes in Ivanovo. The corresponding purchase was posted on the electronic platform on March 29.
The purchased buses are low-floor, equipped with ramps for the convenience of people with limited mobility, equipped with places for attaching wheelchairs with signaling devices for light and sound communication with the driver. They are also equipped with climate systems that allow maintaining a comfortable temperature in the bus interior and driver’s cabin. LIAZs are equipped with information boards and a video surveillance system that allows you to control the boarding and disembarkation of passengers, monitor the driver and the situation around the vehicle. In addition, they are equipped with a multiplex control system – a single control unit for all electronic systems of the bus (engine, doors, gearbox, etc.)
The buses run on natural gas and comply with the Euro-5 environmental standard, which provides for a significant reduction in permissible emissions of harmful substances and negative impacts on the environment.
