This year the traditional format of the “Immortal Regiment” in the form of a procession will not take place. Head of Administration Elena Dyatlova reported this to Klops on Wednesday, April 24.

“We will not hold the Immortal Regiment.” We will hold our “Immortal Regiment” within the walls of the administration. Portraits of our grandfathers and grandmothers will be displayed in the corridors, because this is a memory. We are all proud of our family and friends. I have two grandfathers and grandmothers who went through the entire war,” Dyatlova said.

As for the parade and other events on May 9, the list will be compiled based on the results of the operational survey.

“The regional government will hold a meeting on how to hold the Victory Parade. We will definitely notify you how the May 9 celebration will take place,” Dyatlova added.
