On April 23, at a meeting of the budget commission of the Tver region, the issue of holding events in the Tver region aimed at promoting traditional family values and popularizing best practices for working with families and children was considered. All of them are dedicated to the Year of the Family, which, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, has been declared to be 2024.
So, this year in the Tver region there will be a festival and forum of large families, a festival-gathering “Family Glade”, a professional skills competition for employees of institutions with round-the-clock stay for children, family festivals in Kashin and Toropets, a forum of fathers of the Tver region and other events.
According to the press service of the government of the Tver region, at the meeting of the budget commission decisions were also made regarding the construction and maintenance of new healthcare, education and sports facilities, as well as the provision of free hot meals to school students from families in need of support.
