The day before, the final meeting of the current season was held for members of the “Read/Watch” film club, operating in the art literature department of the Krupskaya Regional Scientific Library.
Film fans watched the short feature film “The Armchair” directed by Alexandra Shishova. The screening took place as part of the all-Russian film marathon organized by the Arctic International Film Festival “Golden Raven”. The 2022 comedy tells the story of a young man who dreamed of working in the Chekhov Museum.
The actor of the Astrakhan Theater for Young Spectators, Konstantin Khakhlev, came to meet with the participants of the film club in the image of Anton Pavlovich himself. After watching, the audience exchanged opinions and took part in a thematic quiz from the guest of honor. The next club meeting will take place in the fall.
Konstantin Khakhlev, known for his creative initiatives – the theater award “It’s Served!” and the network series “Director” has now come up with a new form of communication with viewers. In April, the actor launched the project “I am Chekhov!”, intended for theatergoers and patrons of the arts. Dressed as a classic of Russian literature, Konstantin asks passersby questions related to the theater. The comedian gives 100 rubles to everyone who answers correctly. The project is aimed at popularizing theatrical art among the general population. The actor posts video reports on his pages on social networks and answers questions from all theater lovers.
