The first fountain in Nizhny Novgorod has already started working after winter. This was reported by a correspondent for the news agency “In the City of N”.
We are talking about a fountain on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair – one of the oldest in the city. It was installed in 1869. The landmark was restored for the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod. Reconstruction of the fountain cost 9 million rubles.
During the winter, the fountain at the Fair, like other similar objects, was turned off. It was launched on April 24th. As previously reported, all city fountains were initially planned to be turned on only on May 1. Currently, preparatory work is being carried out at other sites.
Let us remind you that a new fountain appeared in the park on the Verkhne-Volzhskaya embankment in Nizhny Novgorod.
