On April 25, a sports day will be held at the Moscow region stand of the “Russia” exhibition at VDNKh

​The stand will begin its work at 10:30 from the open platform of SSHOR hockey. Experienced hockey players will conduct a master class on puck dribbling for everyone.

From 11:00 and again at 14:30, a quiz and a master class from the handball team “Zvezda” near Moscow will be held at the stand. All visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to get acquainted with this sport and, under the guidance of professional players, learn how to pass and make dribbles.

​At 11:30 and 14:00 an open platform of mutual support for mothers whose children love football will begin its work. The founders of the “Soccer Moms” project will talk in detail about the initiative, show themed videos, and also hold a quiz.

​From 10:30 to 12:00 representatives of the SSHOR in athletics will talk about the main disciplines of this sport and demonstrate their sports equipment – discs, cores, pads and medals.

​At 12:00 and 13:00 a master class from the sports school’s boxing coach will be held at the stand. He will show you how to properly work on the “paws” and with boxing sticks.

​Also at 12:00 and 15:00, representatives of the Integral home for young technicians from the Khimki urban district will talk about the sports drones section and the prospects of a children’s center for training in UAV control. All guests will be able to explore and view the drones that will be on display at the site.

​From 13:30, professional players of the Dynamo-Elektrostal field hockey club will conduct a master class on stick and ball handling techniques.

​At 15:00, all visitors to the Podmoskovye stand will have the opportunity to attend a master class on acrobatic rock and roll from SSHOR summer sports specialists.

At 15:20, students from the Olympic Reserve School No. 5 of the Moscow Region will demonstrate their freestyle football skills.

​Athletes of the rugby club “VVA-Moscow Region” will talk in detail about their team and the sport at 15:40 and 17:30, after which they will conduct a master class where everyone can try to feel like a professional rugby player.

​From 16:30 to 17:30, the stand will host master classes from representatives of the Olympic Reserve School No. 3 near Moscow on fencing using an electronic simulator, as well as a master class on shooting with a laser pistol.

At 12:30, 16:00 and 18:00, sports quizzes will be held at the Moscow Region stand with the presentation of memorable prizes from the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Moscow Region.

​During the entire Sports Day, videos about sports projects implemented in the Moscow region and athletes representing the region will be shown on the stand screens.

In addition, on the sidelines of the exhibition-forum “Russia” in pavilion 57 at 9:00 there will be an award ceremony for the winners of the “You’re in the Game” competition. Professional athletes, Olympic champions, and sports figures will gather to congratulate the laureates. To participate in the ceremony you must register free of charge.

​The international exhibition and forum “Russia” at VDNKh runs from November 4, 2023 to July 8, 2024. The Moscow Region stand is located in pavilion 75. Guests visiting it find themselves in a completely digital and multimedia world of achievements, great history and unique culture of the region. The audio guide, voiced by People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Sergei Bezrukov, will help you navigate the diversity of the exhibition.
