Specialists from the municipal services complex will carry out a major overhaul of about 900 facades of apartment buildings in 2024. This was announced on Wednesday, April 24, by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing, Communal Services and Improvement, Pyotr Biryukov.
— As part of the implementation of the regional capital repair program, we will update 892 facades of residential buildings, most of all in the South-Western (193), Troitsky and Novomoskovsky (117), Central (70) administrative districts. For each type of facade, a special technology has been developed that allows us to fully restore the technical characteristics and appearance of the building,” he noted.
According to the deputy mayor, during the work the geometry of the panels is corrected, after which the interpanel seams are filled with sealant. Brick facades will be treated with hydrophobic compounds. Walls repaired using this technology will last at least 30 years, reports the official website of the Moscow mayor.
Also, workers of the municipal services complex began major repairs of the roofs of apartment buildings. In 2024, 712 roofs will be repaired. Most roofs will be updated in the center of the capital (142), as well as in the Northern (105) and Western (65) administrative districts.
