The court in Tver will consider the petition of the former mayor of Yaroslavl, Evgeny Urlashov, convicted of corruption. Previously, the ex-mayor, serving a sentence in correctional colony No. 1 in Tver, applied for parole.

The court hearing is scheduled for May 22 at 15:00. It will take place in the Moscow District Court.

Let us recall that Evgeny Urlashov was detained in 2013 in a bribery case, and in 2016 he was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison and a fine of 60 million rubles. In 2018, he was denied a pardon. Evgeny Urlashov served half of his sentence in correctional colony No. 2 in Rybinsk, after which he was transferred to Tver.
