On Wednesday, Belgorod residents were surprised by a rare atmospheric phenomenon – yellow clouds with sandy rain descended on the city.
Residents of the region immediately began sharing photographs of the strange phenomenon on social networks. Eyewitnesses said that after the rain that such clouds brought, sand stains remained on clothes and cars.
According to meteorologists from the BelSU National Research University, there is nothing unusual in the rare phenomenon: air masses, moving, carry with them sand from the African continent, which was covered by a strong sandstorm the day before.
