“Where to run?”: Voronezh resident is concerned about the condition of the bomb shelter

--

Nobody controls, says a local resident.

A reader of Notebook Voronezh is concerned about the condition of the bomb shelter, which is located in the basement of a house on 9 January Street. He calls him terrible.

According to a local resident, the bomb shelter has two exits with pressure doors and service rooms inside. But all this, they say, has fallen into disrepair.

“With the advent of the 90s, the shelter turned into a brothel. And then it became unpleasant even for drug addicts and homeless people to be there. Now the pressure door doesn’t even close due to old age and rust. The shelter is half filled with sewage. You won’t even be able to get into it quickly in case of danger.”writes a Voronezh resident.

According to the reader, the Criminal Code does not pay attention to the state of the shelter; no one else controls this issue.

“Where to run in the event of a missile attack or drone strike is not clear. This is a real full-fledged shelter, and not just a basement at home. It was originally provided so that people could escape there. And it needs to be put in order,” – sums up a local resident.
