The growth in production of manufacturing industries in the capital since the beginning of the year amounted to 17 percent. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this on Wednesday, April 24, during a visit to the Spetskabel research and production enterprise in Golyanov.

— In recent years, the volume of industry in Moscow has doubled, and since the beginning of the year alone, manufacturing industries have grown by 17 percent. “Very high dynamics, taking into account the fact that we have already collected quite a large volume,” said the head of the city.

According to him, Spetskabel supplies products to the space, nuclear, transport and other industries.

Vice-president of the Spetskabel plant Sergei Lobanov clarified that production growth at the enterprise in the first quarter compared to the same period last year was already 10 percent, the Moscow city news agency reports.

Based on the results of online negotiations with relevant departments, retailers and distributors from the CIS countries, capital manufacturers agreed to expand trade and economic cooperation. This was announced by Moscow Government Minister, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.
