In Kirov they plan to continue installing floating hatches. They will be made on the roadways of the busiest streets, the city administration reported.
The Vodokanal municipal unitary enterprise said that the floating structure is not attached to the well neck; this allows the hatch to move along with the roadway when the asphalt deforms due to weather and during operation.
In total, 120 hatches of this type have been installed since 2020. This year they plan to install another 70, including Profsoyuznaya, Truda and Chernyshevsky streets.
Let us add that in the Kirov region 2,752 road signs will be installed on highways. The contractor Kirovsignal LLC will begin work in May 2024.
