The Leninsky District Court of Tambov received a criminal case against the driver who hit two road workers on Sovetskaya Street.
Let us remind you that the tragedy happened in the evening in May 2023. The accused, while driving, ignored the requirements of the “Maximum Speed Limit” road sign and hit two workers of the “City Roads Directorate” who were on the roadway doing their work. One of the victims died in the hospital, the other was seriously injured.
The driver will be tried under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The criminal case has been transferred to a judge.
