Rosseti provided electricity to the cable car plant under construction near Tver

--

Rosseti Center specialists have completed work on technological connection to the networks of a full-cycle plant for the production of rope-transport systems. It is being built near the Zavidovo resort in the Tver region. The connection power was 1.5 MW.

The idea of opening such an enterprise was supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to the region in 2022. It is planned to produce 20 aerial cable cars per year. 400 jobs will be created.

To connect the energy enterprise, two 10 kV cable power transmission lines with a total length of 1.3 km were built, and the 35 kV Mokshino substation was expanded, where additional KRUN cells were installed. Partial power lines were laid using horizontal directional drilling, which reduced the work time and preserved the road surface.

Zavidovo is one of the largest resorts in the central part of Russia. A multifunctional all-season recreation complex is being built here, including a water park, a ski slope, cafes and restaurants, hotels, a congress center and a number of production facilities that produce products for the tourism industry.
