The Paninsky District Court considered the case of a 42-year-old Muscovite. The woman was accused of causing the fatal accident. The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
The accident happened about a year ago. According to investigators, at night a motorist driving a Hyundai ix35 suddenly drove into oncoming traffic. There she encountered a Lada Priora driven by a 21-year-old resident of the Novokhopersky district. It all happened around 3:30.
“As a result of an accident, a 21-year-old Lada passenger from the Volgograd region died at the scene of the accident from her injuries,” explained the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Voronezh region.
The drivers and two passengers of the Hyundai were taken to the hospital with injuries. During the investigation, the motorist fully admitted her guilt. She received a mild sentence – 2 years probation with deprivation of rights for 2 years.
