About 30 thousand guests are expected at the Days of Pushkin Poetry and Russian Culture, said Dmitry Grinchenko, general director of the Russian Concert Agency, director of the State Symphony Orchestra “New Russia” under the direction of Yuri Bashmet, at a briefing at the PAI media center today, April 24.

“We plan to break the record of Votkinsk, where there was a concert for 30 thousand spectators. We expect that there will be no less guests here – they will come from neighboring regions,” noted Dmitry Grinchenko.

The organizers will also take care of safety at the event. “It will be difficult, but we are ready. We have already discussed everything with the head of the district, with the management of Mikhailovsky, and so far everything is working out. It will also be important to ensure safety at the event,” emphasized Dmitry Volkhonov, creative manager of the region’s Theater and Concert Directorate.

Let us remind you that the Days of Pushkin’s poetry and Russian culture in the Pskov region will be held this year from June 6 to 9.
