About one million flowers will be planted on the streets of Ryazan. The mayor of the city, Vitaly Artyomov, spoke about this on his page on the social network VKontakte.

“We are preparing for the May holidays. Work has begun on applying road markings and painting curbs, and the removal of sand deposits remaining from the winter is nearing completion. This week city services began planting flowers. This year there will be about a million of them on the streets of Ryazan. At the final stage, the preparation of the fountains is launching literally within two days,” said the head of the administration.
