The plot of the feature film “Suvorovets 1944,” which will be released in federal release on April 25, is based on real events that took place in our region during the Great Patriotic War, as well as works by Novosibirsk authors. The film was created by Novosibirsk filmmakers with the support of the government of the Novosibirsk region and the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.

The author of the project and its general producer was Denis Vyaznikov, head of the feature film studio “Kraski”, which has been developing children’s cinema in the Novosibirsk region for more than 10 years. And the screenwriter and director was Denis Kazantsev, for whom “Suvorovets 1944” became the first full-length film. Starred in the leading role Vsevolod Kazantsevwho, like all the children who took part in the project, was trained at the Novosibirsk feature film studio “Kraski”.

Filming took place in the Kolyvan district of the Novosibirsk region. Leading actors from Novosibirsk theaters took part in the project: Pavel Polyakov, Irina Krivonos, Nikita Sarychev, Andrey Yakovlev, Oleg Mayboroda, Vladislav Shevchuk, Nikolai Solovyov, Vladimir Derbentsev, Alexandra Kazantseva. The musical accompaniment was written by the composer Alexey Grigorievbut in addition to the original soundtrack, viewers will also hear a song by a famous Russian musician in the film Sergei Galanin.

According to the plot, the film takes place in 1944 in a small Siberian village. In the absence of men who have gone to the front, teenagers take on the role of protectors of residents from bandits and plunderers of state property. The main characters of the film, as conceived by the authors, are simple guys worthy of being an example for modern children. One of the main themes was also the heroism of home front workers during the war.

The film has already been highly praised by federal experts; it has been entered into the international festivals “Spirit of Fire”, “Golden Knight”, “Rendezvous with Russia. Siberian character.” Limited preliminary screenings of the Novosibirsk film were held in February and March of this year in Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region. Then more than 2 thousand people watched the film: the first viewers were children from 7 years old, young people, teachers, and representatives of veteran organizations.

The film “Suvorovets 1944” is recommended by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for viewing by students of general education organizations. Age recommendations – 6+, it will be possible to view it using the Pushkin map.
