Two men were convicted of stealing goods from the Wildberries warehouse in the Aleksinsky district, reports the Tula Region Department of Internal Affairs.

According to court documents, in December 2023, two men and a number of other unidentified individuals had an idea to steal goods from a warehouse. An unknown warehouse employee collected the goods into three containers and reported this to the defendants. On the night of December 27-28, the men arrived at the warehouse in a Gazelle and took three boxes of stolen goods for themselves, thereby causing damage to the organization in the amount of 1,776,807.13 rubles.

One of the defendants was sentenced to imprisonment for 2 years suspended with a probationary period of 2 years. The second defendant already has a prison sentence under his belt, so he will serve 2 years and 2 months in a general regime colony, and will also pay a fine of 550,000 rubles. The second defendant remains in custody, while the first was released from court custody.
