During his live broadcast, Governor Pavel Malkov commented on the topic of cleanliness and tidiness of public spaces in Ryazan. The head of the region received several requests through comments regarding the improvement of the city. People point to the need to clean the streets, tidy up the trees in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation, add additional landscaping in Ryazan, and other problems.

Pavel Malkov replied that he agreed with all the comments and reminded that a lot of systematic work is currently underway in Ryazan to make the city clean and comfortable.

“We have made progress in a number of areas, but other things have become noticeable. For example, there are many requests on the topic of garbage. People send photos in the comments to my posts. I see the situation myself, including with the uncollected “garbage bins” when I walk around the city. Container sites often just look disgusting. Garbage is not removed in a timely manner and not in full. This is absolutely unacceptable and seriously spoils the appearance of our city. I have instructed the administration, management companies, and responsible departments to deal with these issues now,” said Pavel Malkov.

Separately, the governor commented on the topic of landscaping the regional center. He noticed that instead of old dry trees being cut down, new green spaces should appear.

– For a city to become truly cozy, we need green lawns, trees, and shrubs. I know that the administration has big plans for planting flowers. We need to supplement it with plans for shrubs and trees. I myself will be happy to plant several trees,” said Pavel Malkov.
