The Kursk complex “Seim” was visited by the First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Azat Kadyrov

First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Azat Kadyrov visited the Kursk region on a working visit. He toured the Seim sports and training complex with Deputy Governor Viktor Karamyshev and the regional Minister of Sports Alexei Petukhov.

A meeting was held at the Seim base with the heads of municipalities, sports organizations and directors of sports schools in our region. During it, the implementation of the federal projects “Sport is the norm of life” and “Business Sprint (I choose sport)” was discussed.

As Deputy Governor Viktor Karamyshev noted, the region pays great attention to the development of sports.

– We purchase and install equipment, and also support athletes as part of a regional project. The implementation of its activities has a positive effect on the dynamics of the main indicators of the physical culture industry. Thanks to this, the share of Kursk residents systematically involved in physical education and sports increased by 9.7%, he explained.

6 sports institutions in the region received sets of equipment and supplies. And 145 talented Kursk athletes received payments. In addition, 5 buses were purchased for sports schools.

During the meeting, issues of digitalization of the sports industry were discussed. Now residents of the region can electronically apply through the government services portal for the assignment of sports categories and refereeing categories, as well as for obtaining state accreditation.

– The sports industry is looking for effective digital platforms that will be convenient not only for coaches, professional athletes, amateurs, but also for parents of young athletes. The digital platform “My Sport” is successfully operating in our region. The implementation of the system allows you to automate various processes in the work of sports schools and federations, said Alexey Petukhov.
