Fees for the use of municipal housing in Nizhny Novgorod will increase from June 1, 2024 by almost 19%. We are talking about apartments that are provided under social rental agreements. The cost per square meter in such premises will range from 25.43 to 40.27 rubles. This was reported by the Department of Economic Development of the city administration.
The tariff will depend on the material of the walls of the apartment building, its location and service life. The types of landscaping carried out are also taken into account. Previously for 1 sq. m, tenants paid from 21.43 to 33.93 rubles. Thus, the price increase will be approximately 18.7%.
After moving in, those who have entered into a social tenancy agreement must pay monthly fees for the use of housing and utilities. At the same time, tenants have the right to become owners of municipal apartments. Then they will pay property taxes and will not pay rent.
