The qualifying rounds of the city competition “Woman of the Year” have started in Tambov.
Today the commission had to review presentations in the most popular nomination “Creativity – a way of life”.
More than three dozen women submitted applications. Among them are artists, architects, kindergarten teachers, teachers and simply creative and enthusiastic people. Most are participating in the competition for the first time.
Dancing, vocals, arts and crafts, acting – the range of talents of the fairer sex is almost limitless. Every hobby has its own destiny, its own path. Thus, among the participants is Marina Alfeeva, technology teacher at school No. 22. A mother of many children helps restore the health of her eldest daughter, who has cerebral palsy, develops the talents of the younger ones, and herself actively participates in creative activities.
Participants’ performances are assessed according to six criteria. The list includes: professional skills, family participation in creative competitions, increasing creative potential, participation in master classes, etc.
“Having watched some of the presentations, we already understand how difficult it will be to determine the winner. The level of preparation for the performance and the work themselves are impressive.“- note members of the commission.
Over the next two days, they will have to evaluate the performances of participants in six more nominations. This is more than 50 people.
The results of the competition will be announced on May 14 on the eve of International Family Day.
