The festival will be attended by 650 people from 26 regions of Russia, as well as teams from Belarus and Kazakhstan.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of Komi, the Komi team will perform at the Russian Football Union Cup in Sochi. The republic is represented by a team of six people, combat veterans.

The festival will be the first Steel Will tournament in 2024. The next stage will take place in June in Nizhny Tagil, where the first Russian Electric Wheelchair Football Cup will take place. Next, the competition will be held in Novokuznetsk – for the first time in Siberia. And in early September in Samara. At the end of autumn, the final tournament will again be held on the federal territory of Sirius.

“It is very important for us that the SVO participants who were wounded are able to realize themselves by returning to the republic. We create conditions for practicing adaptive sports so that our defenders can express themselves on sports fields. In addition, physical education and sports today are among the means of rehabilitation that help motivate children to lead an active life in general. Well, and, of course, thereby setting an example for everyone else,” emphasized Acting Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Komi Svetlana Suvorkina.

The organizer of the Festival is the All-Russian public organization football sports federation “Russian Football Union”.
