The Novosibirsk Region stand, which has been closed since April 20 for re-equipping its exhibition spaces, will reopen to visitors on April 25. The updated space will retain the concept of Academician Lavrentiev’s triad “Science – Education – Production”, but will also be expanded with new zones and activities. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
One of the key innovations will be a panoramic cinema, where films about Novosibirsk and its attractions will be shown, including the children’s cartoon “Mice in Space”. The cinema is designed to accommodate up to 8 visitors at a time.
Additionally, the stand will feature the SKIF interactive zone dedicated to the Siberian Ring Photon Source. The area will be equipped with interactive panels telling about the construction and operating principles of SKIF.
In addition, the updated “Past – Present – Future” layout in the “Science” zone will be supplemented with new objects, and interactive binoculars with 3D graphics and VR effects will allow you to delve deeper into the exhibition exhibits.
In the “Education” zone, a territory of quizzes with quizzes on career guidance, employment and tourism of the Novosibirsk region will be organized. Also at the stand, visitors will be able to see three-dimensional paintings made from Rubik’s cubes, a high-speed bicycle with the ability to accelerate molecules in SKIF before exploding, and a photo zone with chromakey for creative photo sessions.
Until the end of the exhibition, VDNH plans to hold various thematic events, including Labor Productivity Days, a Wedding Festival and the Day of the Siberian Federal District.
The international exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh in Moscow, organized in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, was visited by more than 10 million people during its work. The Novosibirsk region is represented at the exhibition by order of Governor Andrei Travnikov.
