The bridge on Suvorov Street in Kaliningrad will be closed to traffic on Sunday, April 28. Restrictions will be in effect from 7:00 to 22:00. The Kaliningrad.Ru correspondent was informed about this by the press service of the city administration.

The contractor will begin laying the top layer of asphalt on the approaches to the bridge. During the work, travel will be limited in the area from Nansen Lane to Zheleznodorozhnaya Street. Public transport will be allowed along the route that was in effect before the opening of technical traffic.

Work on Suvorov Street began on June 2, 2023. Traffic was closed for three months. The Inpex company is repairing the section from Zheleznodorozhnaya Street to the bridge, as well as on the other side to Nansen Lane. In addition, the contractor expanded the intersection with Zheleznodorozhnaya. Repairs of the entrances to the overpass are planned to be completed by the end of May. The contract price is 94 million rubles.

The bridge to Suvorov was repaired in 2016. Then workers dismantled the rails, changed the base and laid asphalt. The repair of the approaches to the overpass was postponed due to lack of money.
