From April 22 to June 30, the Presidential Grants Fund will evaluate projects implemented with its support in 2023 and determine the 100 best.
“The Yaroslavl region has announced 43 projects with a total budget of about 97 million rubles,” said Deputy Minister of Social Communications and NGO Development Lyubov Novoselova. – All initiatives are socially oriented and significant. For example, within the framework of the project “Museum Embankment. Heroes of the Streets”, aimed at preserving the urban historical appearance of Yaroslavl, more than 115 thousand people got acquainted with the history of the city, learned about the traditions of hospitality, the cultural heritage of the region and outstanding fellow countrymen.
The social effect obtained as a result of implemented projects is assessed taking into account the opinions of representatives of executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, public chambers of the Russian Federation and regions, experts and interested citizens.

Let us note that last year two Yaroslavl initiatives entered the top 100 best in Russia. Project “NON-game!” was implemented by the non-profit public organization “My Family”, which organized a family theater school for orphans, children with disabilities and their peers who found themselves in difficult life situations. The Golden Domes project is aimed at developing the tourist attractiveness of cities and involving young people in the development of territories. It was organized by the Yaroslavl regional public organization of the Russian Youth Union.
