According to the head of the city, the Department of Road Facilities and Improvement, responsible for cleaning Omsk, lacks 300 workers. Officials work for them.

Employees of the Omsk City Hall together with the head of the city Sergei Shelest We went to clean up the bags of garbage left after the cleanup. Previously, the governor gave the corresponding instructions to the mayor Vitaly Khotsenkowho remained dissatisfied with the fact that the bags are still not at the landfill.

Officials worked on Mendeleev Avenue, divided into two teams. It turned out to be effective.

“The Omsk residents did their best, they collected the garbage, but if we don’t take it out, it will be a waste of time.” They threw 7 KamAZ trucks. All this garbage will go to landfills,” Shelest commented.

Employees of the Department of Road Facilities and Improvement must restore order in the city, including removing bags after the cleanup. But the budgetary institution does not have enough people, so city hall officials remove the garbage.

– While there are 1,500 jobs at the enterprise, 300 are vacant, and salaries, given our budgetary capabilities, are small. So the help would definitely be useful,” the mayor added.

By Friday, city administration workers intend to collect a truckload of tires to take them to a tire recycling plant. Omsk residents are not yet very active in handing over old wheels.
