-Moscow Deputy Mayor for Transport Maxim Liksutov said that in St. Petersburg, motorists have paid for parking through the Russian Parking app more than 4 million times since February 2022. Izvestia reports this.
Liksutov noted that the number of parking sessions launched in the Northern capital through the “Parking of Russia” application in March 2024 increased by 2.4 times compared to the same month in 2023.
A single application for paying for parking has been available to motorists in the city on the Neva and Moscow for two years now.
Earlier, 78.ru wrote that hundreds of new spaces for disabled people will appear in the paid parking zone of St. Petersburg. Currently, the city has already created about five thousand areas for free parking for people with limited mobility, accessible regardless of their area of residence.
