Nizhny Novgorod. April 24. NTA-Volga region – On April 23 in Moscow at VDNKh in the Enlightenment pavilion, the results of the first National Award in the field of professional guidance “Russia – my horizons” were summed up.

The honorary title “Teacher No. 1 in career guidance in Russia” was received by Svetlana Kuzina, a mathematics teacher at school No. 5 in Dzerzhinsk.

According to the regional Ministry of Education and Science, Nizhny Novgorod also won an award in the category “Best career guidance practice for families.” Together with colleagues from other regions of the country, she became the author of the “Parent in the Topic” project.

Over three thousand applications from all regions of Russia were submitted to the competition, and the expert council selected more than 70 projects for the shortlist. Participants in the award were teachers, authors of corporate practices, methods, scientific works in the field of career guidance, as well as those who implement individual school projects.

The regional Ministry of Education and Science said that Svetlana Kuzina has been a teacher-navigator of the “Ticket to the Future” project since 2021. She helps schoolchildren go through such stages as testing and professional tests.

The national award in the field of career guidance “Russia – my horizons” is held as part of the all-Russian project “Ticket to the Future”, which is aimed at preparing schoolchildren in grades 6-11 for professional self-determination.

The all-Russian career guidance project “Ticket to the Future” was created within the framework of the federal project “The Success of Every Child” of the national project “Education”.

The national project “Education” is being implemented in the country in accordance with the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin “On the national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation.”

Currently, the national project includes 8 federal projects: “Modern School”, “Success of Every Child”, “Digital Educational Environment”, “Young Professionals”, “Social Elevators for Everyone”, “Social Activity”, “Patriotic Education” and “Youth of Russia”.
