Vadim Rudometov, an 11th grade student at school No. 36 in Tambov, will represent the Tambov region at the All-Russian English Language Olympiad. The final stage of the competition will take place from April 27 to May 3 in Odintsovo. This was reported by the Tambov administration.

Participants will undergo several tests and test tasks: a competition for understanding oral and written texts, a grammar test and tasks to test sociocultural competence, a competition for written and oral speech.

Vadim Rudometov is the winner of the Sergeev-Tsensky scholarship in the field of literature and linguistics. For achievements in learning, he takes a worthy place on the school Honor Board. The young man is interested in programming, participated in city and regional competitions in computer science KIT and CHIP. In 2019, I independently passed the PreliminaryEnglishTest exam in English. In 2022, he took 1st place in the All-Russian Linguistic and Regional Studies Internet Olympiad.

Let us remind you that Mikhail Kolykhalov, a 9th grade student at Lyceum No. 29, went to the city of Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, to participate in the finals of the Olympiad in Ecology. Tambov resident Anastasia Geraskova is fighting for victory in the final stage of the Olympiad in the subject “Physical Culture”. Also, Valeria Mamontova, a student of the information technology class of Lyceum No. 14, went from Tambov to Innopolis to compete for victory in the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad in Informatics. In Moscow, on the basis of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, the Tambov region is represented by Kirill Cherkasov, a 9th grade student at Lyceum No. 29. Tambov tenth grader Semyon Romashkov went to Ufa. He will demonstrate his knowledge of life safety. And eleventh grader Ivan Kovshov will go to the Black Sea coast to the federal territory of Sirius; he represented the region at the Biology Olympiad.

Previously, an 11th grade student from Lyceum No. 14 became the winner of the All-Russian History Olympiad, and a 9th grade student from Lyceum No. 6 won the German Language Olympiad.
